The application Dramatic offers a comprehensive platform for elevating presentations into engaging, immersive experiences. It is suitable for storytellers, role-playing enthusiasts, streamers, live event organizers, trivia hosts, improvisers, community theater groups, and organizers of murder mystery parties. The app integrates seamlessly with Philips Hue Entertainment, LIFX, and Nanoleaf Light Panels, enabling precise scene-by-scene control of lighting and synchronized audiovisual effects to enhance visual impact.

With its scene-based scripting system, Dramatic provides an intuitive, highly configurable, list-oriented editor for creating coordinated light and sound effects. Users can select from over 150 professional audiovisual templates or access a library of more than 100 million tracks via Apple Music integration. Additionally, custom sound files in MP3 and WAV formats can be imported directly into the app via the Files app.

The lighting soundboard feature allows for complex layering by controlling up to three groups of lights and audio effects simultaneously. This capability supports nuanced scene creation through ambient background sounds and lighting effects that set the desired mood. Fine-tuning options such as individual volume controls and looping enable precise balancing of audio layers and effects.

Dramatic also supports storybook-style presentations with full-screen mode capabilities. Users can incorporate images into scenes to craft dynamic visual narratives or mirror scripts onto screens with various customization options designed to suit diverse use cases.

Compatibility extends across multiple lighting hardware solutions, including Philips Hue, LIFX, and Nanoleaf Light Panels. Audiovisuals and effects are fully supported only with Hue Entertainment and Nanoleaf. Other lighting configurations permit control of color transitions and audio but lack advanced synchronization features. The inclusion of Hue Multi-Bridge support allows management of multiple entertainment areas beyond the standard limit of ten lights.

The app's Bluetooth remote functionality facilitates scene changes, brightness adjustments, and navigation in full-screen mode through connection to game controllers or media remotes.

Dramatic's cloud services enable content synchronization across devices, secure backup of projects, and collaborative script development via a dedicated cloud account.

Subscription options are available on a monthly or yearly basis, each offering a 14-day free trial for new users. Subscribers gain unrestricted access to all audiovisual assets, unlimited script and scene creation, cloud synchronization, updates for new hardware and features, and personalized technical support via email.

Purchases are processed through the user's iTunes account at the conclusion of the trial period. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the period's end, with renewal charges applied accordingly. Cancellation can be managed through iTunes account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.
